You will learn to use a variety of tools to educate and assess the persons understanding of the decisions they make (capacity and competency) to ensure people are making informed choices. The course is also designed to teach people, who work in a variety of different organisations, how to effectively implement the LET ME DECIDE advance health care directive program in different settings. Facilitators need to understand directives, the implications of their use in their work setting, and the implementation process.

Implementing health care directives in any organisation is a process that requires proper planning and management, to be successful. The Course also provides the knowledge and skills necessary for each organisation to develop its own flexible work plans to implement Let Me Decide.
